Steeped in history, the Swan has been celebrating Christmas for nearly 600 years. The ancient oak beams and inglenook fireplaces provide a beautiful backdrop to the festive celebrations, while outstanding food is served in the two AA rosette Gallery Restaurant, informal lounges and the historic Old Bar, where the walls feature WWII airmen’s signatures and memorabilia. Decked out for the festive season, it has several twinkling Christmas trees placed around the hotel including one high up on the Minstrel’s Gallery above the restaurant.
The 15th century half-timbered Swan Hotel at Lavenham, in the heart of rural Suffolk, is offering a special three-night dinner, B&B Christmas package from Thursday 24th December priced from £1,250 per double/twin room for two sharing.
