It’s has now been a full one year since we opened following an extensive refurbishment at The Castle Hotel.

For centuries the Castle has been at the heart of the thriving historic Welsh market town Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, on the western fringes of the Brecon Beacons. Llandovery (or Llanymddyfri which means “Church amongst the Water”).

It has always been a place for travellers and visitors to rest, to replenish and recharge their batteries. It still is today. Probably more important than ever, we all need a place to unwind and remember the things that matter.
